WBMP support in Firefox
WBMP is an image format used on wireless devices alongside WML. It is not currently supported in Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox.
WBMP support is checked in to the wmlbrowser CVS, based on the attachments to bug 182621.
Currently there are XPIs available for Firefox 3 beta 4 builds on Windows and Linux only. I do not have the resources to create a Mac version.
The install.rdf specifies compatibility for 3.0 beta 4. I hope to update it again for future betas, and then for the final FF 3 release.
This is offered ONLY as an experimental facility at the moment. Please regard it as potentially unstable, capable of crashing your browser, and not guaranteed to work.
